Join us for a special event of live storytelling at the Schweikher House as we celebrate Docomomo US’ Tour Day theme, Recreation & Play. Did you know the Schweikher House property was once home to a volleyball court where workday breaks included a little friendly competition - a reminder that spaces for play can be found in unexpected places. Inspired by that spirit, our collaborative friends at Story Sessions will share true stories sparked by recreational spaces and structures, sculptural gardens, plazas, parks, educational campuses and other places where people gather, wander, compete, rest, and connect. Expect stories about moments of joy, discovery, mischief, nostalgia, and community.

Experience this rare event of storytelling on Saturday, October 10th in the intimate setting of the historic Schweikher House.
