Schweikher House’s 2nd Annual Peony Party Fundraising Event!

In the tradition of Schweikher House owners Martyl and Alex Langsdorf, please join us for a Peony Party featuring Martyl's art from private collections. Enjoy delicious food, drinks, art, our historic house and peonies!

Join the Schweikher House Preservation Trust for a summer afternoon fundraiser at the Schweikher House in Schaumburg, Illinois on Saturday, May 31st, from 1pm to 4pm in support of our organization. Enjoy the 35+ varieties of blooming peonies, drinks, delicious food from Unforgettable Edibles and music by Midtown Strings while mingling throughout the house and grounds.

This year's party will feature Martyl paintings from private collections, many never seen before in public. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind treat to experience Martyl's art in the very same house and studio where it was created!

Your ticket supports our year-round programing including our popular salon concerts, lectures and guided tours. Tickets also support our new Collections Committee by maintaining artifacts and ephemera of the Schweikhers and Langsdorfs.

The Schweikher House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a local Schaumburg landmark, is on the AIA Illinois top 200 architectural sites in Illinois, is a longstanding member of Docomomo Chicago and is a member of Iconic Houses.
