About the Artist
The Confluence Collective consists of multidisciplinary professionals and members of the Lakeview Symphony Orchestra who share a passion for the connective potential of chamber music. Founded in the summer of 2024 through a series of intimate salon concerts hosted in the garden apartment of one of the original quartet's members, the collective has expanded to tackle a range of chamber works including Brahms' Sextet No. 2 in G Major, performing in salons across the city including the Arts Club of Chicago, Chicago Symphony Orchestra's Overture Council Members Salon, and the Lakeview Orchestra summer chamber series. In the Spring of 2025, the collective was invited to participate in the Manhattan String Quartet's annual chamber workshop hosted in NYC's Greenwich House. That same summer the ensemble would be included in the lineup of Access Contemporary Music's 'Thirsty Ears' Music Festival in Ravenswood, subsequently featured in a writeup by the Chicago Tribune.
The collective is committed to elevating the sustained relevance of chamber music experienced in intimate salons to foster connection, conversation, and community.
